I was born in Auckland and lived here during my school and university years. I worked in various roles including medical research in Brisbane and in the pharmaceutical industry in NZ, China and New York. While living in Australia, I gained my pilot's licence and worked part time as a diving instructor.
I returned to New Zealand to embark on a medical degree at the University of Auckland. I completed a diploma of paediatrics before finally starting my career in General Practice which I thoroughly enjoy. I am passionate about helping people achieve their best health possible through physical activity and sensible lifestyle choices.
I live locally and am married with two teenage children. I enjoy going to the gym, everything outdoors, especially trail running, and walking our dog.
